This page tells you The Goldsmiths’ Atelier’s terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them before purchasing any Products from us.

You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order any Products from us.

We operate the website www.kristjaneyjolfsson.com. We are The Goldsmiths’ Atelier, a company registered in Australia under ABN 27 127 132 896. Our main trading address is The Trust Building 155 King Street Suite 213 NSW 2000 Sydney, Australia

YOUR STATUS

– You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;

– You are at least 18 years old.

GUARANTEE

The Goldsmiths’ Atelier is proud to offer clients a material and workmanship guarantee for every piece produced. Defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship are covered by our guarantee and repairs will be offered free of charge.

Our guarantee does not cover:

– Wear and tear

– Accidental damage

– Scratching

– Misuse or negligence

– Loss of the piece

– Loss of precious stones or diamonds.

Modifications, repairs or servicing performed by someone other than The Goldsmiths’ Atelier nullifies this guarantee.

Please note: This guarantee does not apply in situations where a customer has supplied their own materials.

AFTER SALES CARE

The Goldsmiths’ Atelier want you to enjoy your pieces wear after wear, year after year. And so, as part of our customer service, we invite you to a complementary annual health check of your bespoke pieces that includes checking how your piece is wearing, including stone settings; cleaning and polishing.

Please be advised that fixing damages beyond normal wear and tear may incur a charge.

BUYING FROM US

By clicking the ‘Buy’ button to submit your order on the checkout screen you are agreeing to buy the goods at the price stated subject to our Terms and Conditions and Policies.

All deposits for bespoke/ custom-made orders are non-refundable.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES

For goods shipped outside Australia, you will be liable for any local or importation taxes or costs due on your purchase.  You may receive a separate invoice from our shipper with these additional customs charges. For more information, please refer to our Delivery Policy.

SUPPLY OF GOODS

We have the right, at our discretion, to refuse to supply goods for your order.

Goods are subject to availability. If we do not supply the goods we will refund any money already paid. We will not be liable for compensation or damages if we do not supply goods.

A binding contract is formed only once your payment has been processed.

DELIVERIES

We aim to deliver within the time scales stated although at times delivery may be subject to conditions outside of our control. All delivery times are approximate and we will not be held liable for any compensation or damages as a result of late or non-delivery.

If we are unable to deliver within our normal delivery time we will contact you immediately to agree a new delivery date. If we are unable to agree a new date we will refund any money paid by you for the goods. You have the right to contact us if we do not deliver within the time-scales outlined in our Delivery Policy and Dispatch Policy.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

You will only own the goods once we have received payment in full. You will be responsible for the goods once delivery is made or delayed by you at delivery.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

To return or exchange goods please follow the returns procedure detailed under Returns and Exchanges Policy. It is your responsibility to return your goods to us. We do not accept liability for the costs of return, returns damaged in transit or not received by us and we do not refund postage charges on exchanges or refunds.

WEBSITE

We do not accept any responsibility for any website not under our control, which may act as a portal for our site, or be connected by hypertext links from our site. For more information, please refer to our Terms of Website Use and Website Acceptable Use Policy.

GOVERNING LAW

Any disputes arising out of or related to our Terms and Conditions or Policies shall be resolved exclusively by the laws of Australia

MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND POLICIES

The Goldsmiths’ Atelier reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions and policies contained in this website at any time. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review the Site and these Terms and Conditions and Policies from time to time. Your continued use of the Site after such modifications will constitute acknowledgment of the modified Terms and Conditions and Policies and agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Terms and Conditions and Policies.
