Drawing inspiration from traditional Icelandic Sagas and Runes, these pieces embody strength, pride and history.
The Landvaettir are the four characters featured on the Icelandic coat of arms. They represent the four protectors of Iceland and include a dragon (Dreki), an eagle or griffin (Gammur), a bull (Griðungur), and a giant (Bergrisi). We have carved the names of these protectors in Icelandic rune form on the Vikingur Protectors’ ring. The intention is for these rings to replicate the way that these guardians protected Iceland.
